By Billy Joel
I am beyond grateful for my doc’s. They have kept me alive for almost 10 years. And I am humbled by their expertise and caring. Same goes for the nurses and others who have been in service to me over these years. No complaints. It amazes me.
However, to coin a portion of a Billy Joel classic, occasionally, I want to scream “…I don’t care what you say anymore this is my life…”
And so, this month’s song is just about right.
No need to expound on the brilliance of Billy Joel. His commercial success speaks to an ability to “touch” on the feelings of a good many of us. He has stayed relevant for almost 50 years on the American music scene which says a lot about his talents.
This song debuted in 1978 and reached #3 on Billboard’s Top 100.
Yes, I went fishing this month and a portion of my decision was based on the lyrics of this song.
