By The Beach Boys
Take a look at the video and you will see two original members of the Beach Boys still managing to provide us with great sounds.
I love that two 70 yr (+/-) old men (Brian Wilson and Al Jardine) can still sing the words “yeah yeah” and make me smile. You are never too old to sing “yeah yeah” and mean it.
Of course, the Beach Boys need no introduction. They were one of the most influential musicians of any era. I saw them in concert as a teen and then as an adult. That is staying power.
What really touched me is this latest version of a huge hit was the revised last line in the song from “worst trip” to “best trip.” I was sold at that point in using this as the song of the month.
Like it or not this is our “best trip.”
And I sense that is particularly important.
