Some Days Are Diamonds

By John Denver

Yes indeed – some days/weeks/hours/etc. are diamonds and some days/weeks/hours/etc. are stone.

It sort of describes living with MM or just living for that matter. For me, the simplicity of the statement really accentuates it reliability/relatability. Who of us has not experienced diamonds and stones.

John Denver could really put words to music. What a talent. I read that he recorded over 300 songs of which 200 were songs he himself composed which to me sounds like a very large number. He achieved 33 gold albums and singles in his lifetime.

His commercial popularity peaked between 1971 – 1975. I know, that is 50 years ago! Boy does time fly.

The message for this month, enjoy both the diamonds and stones (or at least try).
